Time to wrap up our garden season. And while we might have been picking beans, spinach, and tomatoes throughout the summer, our fall harvest was a bit... sad. Our potato plants looked good, but each plant only bore ONE potato. Our carrots were about the size of Janie's little fingers, and the eggplant never blossomed. Our pepper plants were bigger than I have ever seen but flowered too late in the season to produce many. Annie is holding our one and only melon. But we'll keep at it. Quality over quantity and all that. The delicious eliminates the disappointment.
