Happy Easter! We had a very nice weekend with two family suppers, lots of food, a fair share (or more) of candy, egg-dyeing and hunting, Mass, trumpet-playing, and nice weather. Alleluia! He is Risen!

1. Annie is feeling so, so, so much better this week than last. She is a completely different girl and we couldn't be more happy to see her spunk again.
2. Why does she look like such a big girl in this picture?

I believe David has been looking forward to this moment since about December 15, 2008. He and Joe played catch for the first time today. Henry also played, as long as you could drop the ball precisely into his glove while he sat atop his perch on the tree stump.

22 weeks

dear mystery virus

Well, we've had quite enough of you. You gave my baby four days of fever, a rash, diarrhea, throw-ups, and loss of appetite. She slept most of last week and, when she wasn't sleeping, she was crying and sweating in my arms. We went to three different doctors who, in the end, told us we had to wait it out. We missed her smile, her laugh, her running around, and her babbling. And now that, thankfully, Annie is on the mend, she is pounds lighter with a bony bum and a deflated tummy. Imagine that - a flat tummy on a 20 month old! Also, she now seems to have an incurable case of bedhead. So you may go, mystery virus, and please do not come back.
