fancy

Clara would like you to know that she got a new dress for Christmas.

(far from) home for Christmas

This is what Christmas looks like when you're far away from ones you love... thank goodness for FaceTime, so we can see Grammie and Papa and cousins and a new little baby.

merry and bright

Christmas!!

Thank you to all the Santas who filled our day with glee. We're very blessed, we're very grateful.

glad tidings!

Merry Christmas, from the Kantors, who are almost completely blocking their Christmas tree. (It's back there, and it's gorgeous, trust us.)

We celebrated tonight with a cheese and fancy drink (ie. ginger ale) feast, before heading to Mass. Hurray! Baby Jesus is born! Glory to God in the highest!

Now the milk and cookies are out, and we're waiting for that other guy to arrive. Merry Christmas, everyone!!

bakers

Christmas = baking. Thank goodness for that.

Janie and I have been busy in the kitchen, making one thing a day for most of December. And today Nanny came over, to help bake the kiflis. She had many helpers, and the resulting kiflis really reflect all their personalities. But regardless of their size or shape or overall appearance, kiflis taste the same. Thank goodness for that.

Christmas visitor

The only visit better than Santa this year, was this one. The kids get so excited when David's cousin, Fr. Greg, comes to stay. There is a lot of competing for attention but he gives it all so generously. Greg is the most peaceful part of our lives, and it is good for us to have him around.

lights, camera, action

School's out! I'm so happy. Now we're home with no schedule and lazy days ahead! Except for when I do schedule things, like visiting this light display at Spencer Smith park in Burlington. So here we are, enjoying lights and our Christmas holiday and no schedule. Woohoo!
