tablescape

The best posture for finishing your 1000-piece puzzle. Need to get in close to make sure the pieces fit just right.

under the B...

Bingo! Met up with Grammie and Papa today for some virtual bingo. Grammie crushed it, winning two of the five games, but Joe covered all his squares first for the blackout cash prize. But the real winner? Me. Because we played five games of Bingo, and no one cried or stomped away mad.

boxing day sails

Halton region began lockdown today so there were no Boxing Day sales but there was Boxing Day sailing down the hills on our sleds. We met up with Dhas family (and about 50 other families we didn't know) for some slippery fun on a well-used slope. Rain is in the forecast so we needed to enjoy the snow immediately. And then enjoy hot chocolate immediately after that.

the big event

Woohoo!! Up bright and early to greet the day at the urgent behest of our children. Happy to announce we made the "nice" list and Santa delivered some goodies for us. Even happier to discover we received the gift of SNOW for a sweet, white Christmas. We hung out in our jammies for most of the day, cozy and cuddly in our home and our hearts, grateful for generous family and friends. We shared some joy and saw faces we love over video calls, and got outside to slip, slide, and throw snowballs on a beautiful winter day. Three cheers for a very merry Christmas.
