Henry's turn for pictures. He loves the game and I love his determined face.

living dangerously
I'm not sure who Joe thinks this sign is for?
(I did remove him immediately from the area after taking the picture. I'm a rule follower.)

flippedy-doo-da
Do you know where is a good place to do handstands? Hint: it's not the kitchen, despite the 20-million handstands completed per day right in front of the refrigerator. Answer: gymnastics class. And both Annie and Clara really, really, really loved their classes this year. So here they are, flipping and bending and rolling at their end of year performances. Scroll through the pictures extra fast for the full momentum.

dad
Happy Father's Day, to a good dad. I'm so sorry that everyone was so grumpy today but thank you for rolling with it and loving us anyway. Just like every day.
And even though no one was in the best of moods, people will smile when you tell them to say "poo head" on the count of three.

dueling pianos
Piano recital day. The boys did great and it was fun to hear all the other kids with their songs. Leo did a lot of dancing and everyone enjoyed cookies and juice. A good time for all. Way to go, boys.

cousin vs. cousin
Joe and Jonah met head to head in the final of their House League Tournament. The match-up was a good one that went into extra innings but, in the end, one cousin went home happy and one cousin went home sad... and the sad one lives in our house. We'll meet again, though, Jonah... we'll meet again.

Joe spies Jonah across the diamond.
Joe catching, Jonah batting.

al fresco
Outdoor dining has begun. I would say, "Warn the neighbours," but the neighbours are already well aware of our presence and whereabouts.

seven months
Look at this guy! He's a 19.5 pound seven-month-old. I don't think his weight out of the ordinary for his age but he carries it in such a way that invites people to say, "I see your Mom is feeding you." So, here is, enjoying life. He also enjoys munching on cheerios while watching his siblings eat breakfast, rolling his way dangerously close to the top of the stairs, falling asleep in Mommy's arms and no where else, waking frequently to check that Mommy is still nearby, using his sharp 1.5 teeth to bite the shoulder of the one who's holding him, whacking away at the noisy toys, shrieking at his mobile, and laughing at his family. He's a good guy. We love him.
