School's about to start. But we had time to run away for one more day, so off to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Lewiston to say thanks for our fun summer and offer up some prayers for a good school year.

grammie and papa
As always, we loved our time at home with you. Thanks for all the love and all the treats and hugs and pool games and good food and fluffy buns and stories and crop checks and all the good, happy things that are just part of being with you. We miss you.
cousins
Thanks, Girodat kids, for all the fun. Especially Jett, who yelled at David while playing baseball, "I'M HAVING SO MUCH FUN I'M GOING TO BARF!"

Thanks, Matt. It was tasty.
And thanks, Al, for the tenderloin, which was even more tasty.
And thanks, Michelle, for being married to such good cooks.

prairie camping
If you've ever wanted to sleep near rattlesnakes, prairie dogs, bison, coyotes, and mice, then Grasslands National Park is the place for you. We spent a night under the stars (and in a tipi) at the prairie park and had a good, cold adventure. Ran around, chased prairie dogs, picked up their poop (Clara), walked by bison, stared at the stars, cozied together on a chilly night, listened to a coyote symphony, walked in a riverbed, and got really dirty. All components of happy camping.
