Grammie made me this awesome blanket. Don't you love it? It's the softest, cuddliest blanket I've ever had the pleasure of rolling around on and I'm so glad you made this for me. I love you, Grammie.

happy easter
We eastered hard today. After all the lenting, it was good to celebrate. So we egg-hunted, and Churched, and suppered with family. We ate and ate and ate. There was juice, and chocolate, and cake, and more chocolate, and juice on the floor. Whew. Good party.
Thanks, Jesus, for rising from the dead. Alleluia!

holy holy holy
We are working our way through Holy Week, feeling particularly mournful because of Leo's continued sad, sick cries.
So far, we've turned off the TV, worked our way through Jerusalem with our salt dough Jesus, washed each other's feet on Holy Thursday, and dyed our Easter eggs. Now we wait. We'll celebrate our own little vigil at home on Saturday night while Daddy goes to trumpet at the Church, and the kids are very excited to soon be able to say the word you can't say right now. Starts with an A. We're almost there.

dirty job
Someone has to wake up all the worms in the garden, and the girls were up for it. They've uncovered dozens so far and are busy trying to figure out the family groupings and who belongs to who. Jane, having recently been through the potty-training business herself, is encouraging the worms to poop by squeezing it out of their little bodies (is it poop? is it their insides? either way, I'm trying to discourage this activity). Anyway, if you have some worms who need loving, don't hesitate to contact the Kantor girls for their compassion and expertise.

sorrow
Our poor Leo is sick. Fever-is and stuffy and eye-goopy sick. And the saddest part of an already very sad part is his constant, mournful cry. All his waking hours (which are a lot, due to the difficulty of sleeping when so stuffed up), he moans a pitiful, sorrowful cry that is making all of our house feel so, so sad for our sweet babe. Please get well soon, dear Leo.
