celebrating nanny
All these people gathered around Nanny to celebrate her on her birthday. Big smiles and big love for the grandmother who loves them so well.
(Please note, Leo also loves Nanny, and therefore stayed home with me so as to not pass on his very runny nose. That's true love.)

happy, happy birthday
Wishing our lovely Mom and Nanny a very happy 80th birthday. We will celebrate her properly on the weekend, but today Janie and I snuck over to deliver some flowers and love. We are so grateful for how she loves us and teaches us and prays for us (and feeds us). We are a very lucky bunch to have her.

sweet relief
Miss Clara is happy and very, very relieved to tell you that she celebrated her First Reconciliation today! This was a nerve-racking experience, thinking over all those seven years of sins and having to talk to a priest about them... but she did it! And now all is well and forgiven and she is shining bright! Woohoo!

helper
I'm up on the kitchen counter to wash the windows, and Leo is making sure I don't fall through.
And while I was up there, I really appreciated this tree outside. Good work, tree.

we're on a roll
Time to celebrate (again) our three-year-old. We gathered for supper and paw print cupcakes to honour Leo and his first love, Paw Patrol. No party is too big, no pup is to small. (That's a Paw Patrol reference, and we hear it often in our house.)
Happy Birthday (again!), dear Leo!

A CEMENT MIXER!! IN OUR DRIVEWAY!!
Leo's dream come true. The guys came to pour the cement for our patio and, once the excitement of the truck wore off, and the work was done, and the men all gone, then we snuck out to leave our lasting impressions. We're excited for all the fun to come in our new-ish backyard!

on the count of three
This is a good day for a three-year-old fella...
prezzies and doughnuts and being doted on by his siblings
a walk with Mommy and Daddy to the park
a pancake feast
a Paw Patrol cake with singing and candles
smooches and love
some books with the brothers
and a bubble bath to melt the stress away.
Happy Birthday to our Leo! We love you so!
