To celebrate our Number 1 Dad and Husband, we declared this past weekend Birthday Weekend and made it our mission to make all of David's wishes come true. You already know he enjoyed napping... here's what else we thought would make his birthday grand...

supper out with famille

pick up diapers at Costco (okay... probably not a "wish" and more of a "to do")

have brunch with friends

hang out at home

play outside

wear dress shirts and go to Church


wear new "stunt man" t-shirts

eat cake with family

And now... cake is eaten. Wishes fulfilled and birthday weekend is done... until next week when there will be a whole new set of someone else's wishes...

Henry is 18 weeks today... time is going by so quickly. He's such a happy guy but occasionally a big lip does come out... and here it is.

sew excited...

I'm so excited that I used a bad pun. As spare time allows, I'm enjoying sewing and - look - I sewed up this quilt. I'm really happy with it - the fabrics are fun and went together better than I imagined, and the whole sewing process was Fun (yes, with a capital F) - and I hope the baby who it's going to will enjoy lots of play time on it! Yippee!! On to the next one!
