here and now

Three and half months later and hello from here. The days have been busy with good things, like Joe turning 15 and Christmas, as well as hard, grieving things on those very same days. And they have all busted past us, as though the calendar was trying to qualify for some sort of race. In many ways, we're still stuck in the Fall wondering how and when did we get through October. But here we are. 

David turns 50 soon, and we're celebrating him as much as we can. And those are all the plans we have for now (with the exception of some eye checks and orthodontist appointments - also super fun).
