Happy early Birthday to Schmisel. Here we are out celebrating with supper... her, me, and Wilson Philips in the background there. This picture was taken right before the 20-something-year-old waitress compared us to... her mom. I adjusted the tip accordingly.

Breaking news: Leo found this giant pepper at the grocery store today. I don't know how big a peck of peppers is, pickled or not, but I'm pretty sure this is bigger.

So happy for my former S+L colleagues, whose work was on the big screen when the Mother Teresa film hit theatres across Canada. A beautiful story and a job well done.

Well, that week went down the toilet. Literally. Ha ha. But also gross. Experiencing various levels of illness, we had to cancel some of our plans, laid around, watched movies, and didn't eat snacks. By Thursday we felt well enough to visit some lovely friends, and Friday we headed to the RBG to admire their lights and the great outdoors... a flashy ending to a dull week.

Now that we're home, we'll take a look under our own tree for a wee second Christmas. Later, we enjoyed a Kantor supper and we look forward to cozying in this week and not doing much of anything. We've got some friend visits lined up, some movies to watch, and some snacks to eat... Merry Extended Christmas to us!
