kantors in quarantine - july 8

New week. New Provincial Park. New beach.

This time, Sibbald Point Provincial Park on Lake Simcoe. A beautiful, sunny day with the following assessment:
Pros - really shallow, warm water that was great for the littlest kids to splash and swim in. Sand, which is more fun to play in than rocks.
Cons - it was so, so busy. I was convinced we were going to be in news footage of reckless people disobeying Covid rules. A smaller lake means a smaller beach crowded with people from a more populated area than Rock Point. We had to stake our claim and be hyper aware of staying away from people. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting.
But another Pro - we just really like the beach, so we still had a nice day. We swam out past the ropes into a quieter away from most of the people and just enjoyed some quiet splashing time by ourselves.

Next week we're heading back to Lake Erie and, hopefully, less crowded waters.
