Happy New York City!

This was Jane's saying over the holiday season... we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New York City! So we pass these greetings on to you, with blessings for the new year.

Here's a recap of our wild and crazy partying yesterday. We started right after breakfast, with a string of balloons across the dining room that we took turns popping. Inside each balloon was a slip of paper with an activity to do as a family, so we were busy all day long with...

  • thinking (or looking) up a funny joke and then calling Grammie and Papa to share it with them
  • learning how to say "Happy New Year!" in Hungarian before calling Grandpa to wish him a "boldog új évet!"
  • playing a board game
  • eating chips
  • making a party hat
  • making a fancy drink
  • giving Daddy a hug
  • watching a movie
  • and a bunch of other things

It was a fun and busy day, that ended with noisemakers being blown with such vigour and enthusiasm... that could probably be heard in New York City
