I do find myself counting heads at different points throughout the day. I have also started monitoring our progress in percentages... 50% of my children are dressed... 25% have brushed their teeth... 75% made their bed. Somehow I feel like this helps me keep a handle on what needs to be done and get us out the door in the morning. I could just as easily do this by counting but percentages feel like progress to me. Even if it's 0%.
