We like to leave things to the last minute. It's been the Year of Mercy since last November, and the Doors of Mercy close (that sounds terrible... like your opportunity for mercy is being slammed in your face... pretty sure that's not what's happening but I can't think of another way to word that) on November 13. So we drove over to the Cathedral in Hamilton today to see what that was all about. Some better research would have been helpful but, after wandering around and asking about, we found the door, said some prayers, hit up confession, took a picture, and out we went. And now we wait for mercy to fall down on us. I would like it by the brickload, please, God, thanks.
