Well, look who's back in our house. It's Finn McMissile. This guy has been on vacation since July to who-knows-where. On our return flight from Saskatchewan this summer, Finn got left on the plane, along with a bag full of Henry's favourite planes and hot wheels cars and random other in-flight necessities. It was no one's fault, really. That was one of the hardest flights we've ever had, with a two-hour delay and David and me carrying sleeping children off the plane when we finally reached Toronto and no eyes available to do our last-minute check for left items. So the next morning when the boys discovered they toys were gone, we filed a lost item claim with Air Canada, followed up a couple of times in the next few weeks, and then figured we needed to let go of the idea of those toys ever coming back. A bit heart-breaking for Henry and Joe but toys are toys and what can you do.
Well, if you ever lose an item with Air Canada, give it maybe three to four months. That trip to the mailbox today was a complete surprise and Henry was so happy to be reunited with his pals. If only we could get Finn McMissile to talk, it would be nice to know where he was these last few months. How come your return address was Montreal, Finn?
