Joe is in soccer this fall and he loves it. Half an hour of instruction followed by half an hour of game. According to him, it's practically pro league.
He's learning but it's very clear that a lot of the kids have been in soccer for much longer than him. Sure, there are kids staring off into space and rolling around on the ground, but there are also kids who can seriously dribble the ball and know the actual positions and rules of the game. Joe is somewhere in the middle - but he neither knows about nor cares about that, thank goodness. He really is just having fun and running fast and kicking the ball and having water breaks (water breaks = the big leagues).
