And by "home" I mean anyone's home... Joe really is quite comfortable making himself at home wherever he goes.
Today, Joe, Henry, and I delivered parcels of cookies to our neighbours. Joe was in charge of:
- carrying the cookies
- ringing the doorbell
- saying, "Merry Christmas" to each neighbour who answered
(Henry and I were in charge of smiling in the background).
Joe added to his responsibilities by being in charge of:
- stepping into each house
- taking his coat off
- inviting himself in
Our neighbours are very nice people so they didn't mind. He got a couple of house tours and a few invitations to come play another day. He has accepted and will no doubt be following up on those.
Merry Christmas, neighbours! You are really kind people and we are glad to live here.
